Assalaamu'alaikum, I've just finished reading If I should speak, translated into Indonesian language. i feel the story was so true and touching. The inner struggling to strengthen our iman, to prove our iman, happens to all muslims, whether they live as minority or majority of a country. May Allah bless us with hidayah. For Sis Umm Zakiyyah, jazakAllah khair, I love you. I wish I can read your other books soon, but it seems I have to wait since our Indonesian publisher just released your first book this June. Assalamualaikum, I recently ordered ALL of Um Zakiyyah's books from Amazon and have just finished reading 'If I should speak' and thought it was an excellent book. I think Aminah's character in the book, reminds me so much of myself! I am still awaiting the delivery of 'Voices' - the sequel to the first book. Hopefully I should recieve it this week. Cant wait to read it! Keep up the good work Sis Um Zakiyyah, and may Allah reward you for your efforts. I will be passing my books round to friends and family after finishing reading them myself.

JazakAllah khair sister Umm Zakiyyah. Your books have had such a profound impact on my life and it’s so refreshing to see who the writer is ‘behind the scenes.’ In fact, after reading your books and seeing what kind of influence they’ve had, I often ponder about becoming an Islamic fiction writer myself.

Assalaamualaykum, I'm actually a "writer" myself, and as umm zakiyyah mentioned in the interview, I've always felt that I had a responsibility to use this gift Allah subahanahu wa ta'ala has blessed me with, in His cause... but I can never seem to figure out how... I'm still struggling to find a "path" for my writing
